- In 1965 when I was 20 and known as Ken Willis-Lane, I attended the North Regional Assn for the Blind College, at Headingley Castle. and celebrated my 21st birthday at the Shire Oak pub. I lived at the Toc H hostel called Brotherton House, North Grange Road. I have many happy memories of my time there. As I was the youngest student on the course I expect most of my fellow students are no longer with us ! I moved to London in 1966 and for the past 30 years have lived at Surbiton in Surrey. I would love to hear from anyone who remembers me. So many memories..........Best wishes to you all. KL.
